Mini-Mole LLC is a Danvers, Massachusetts based startup that was founded in February 2014. Our mission is to design, build, and sell the most innovative and affordable automatic floor cleaners. We are excited to offer the Mini-Mole Robotic Floor Sweeper as our first product for automatically cleaning all of the hard floors in your home!
About Mini-Mole
In February 2014, our founder, Phil Caruso, dropped some change on the floor in his living room. While retrieving the coins, he reached under the TV stand, and a handful of dust and fur came back with the coins. The 2 inch clearance under the TV stand made it difficult to clean under furniture like this.
Phil's search for automated cleaners to take care of this mess revealed that there was nothing available to clean under furniture with ground clearances under 3 inches. Cleaning services don't normally move heavy furniture to clean floors, and the rest of us certainly don't do it very often—if at all! Existing automatic floor cleaners are over 3 inches tall, so they can't reach these areas, and the dust just keeps building up.
Inspired by the small, burrowing mammal known as a mole, the Mini-Mole was born!

Phil Caruso - Founder & CEOPhil has been creating and building electronic gadgets since the 1970s, has been programming computers since the 1980s, and has taken a deep dive into the world of robotics since 2014.
Phil graduated as class valedictorian from the Electrical program at Lynn Vocational Technical High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology Summa Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Mini-Mole has been Phil's passion since its conception in 2014. |
